I am the …proud? owner of two fully functional (if you consider ROM 0 units functional) Apple IIgses. While both machines are ROM 0, one is quite obviously an earlier revision than the other when the chips are compared side by side.

I only need one IIgs and I want it to be a ROM 3, so I will happily trade your choice (either or both) of the following two items to get a ROM 3 motherboard:

• Item the First: A ROM 0 motherboard in perfect working order (this is the one I'll be swapping out for the ROM 3 board; the two are interchangeable).

• Item the Second: A complete and working ROM 0 CPU unit (case, PS, etc. intact, but no cables or peripherals; though on request I will, within reason, include spare cables of any types I have on hand). The cases on these puppies are almost like new — barely yellowed at all. Not a Woz edition case though.

I am also willing to shell out a small amount of cash in lieu of the above, but be advised that the shipping is likely to consume most of my budget. For that reason, if you choose to take item 2 (the complete unit) as part of the trade, I will likely need you to contribute towards the shipping costs.
