Description

720 KB, 3�" diskette drive for IBM PS/2 models 25 and 30 with Intel 8086 processor; used in IBM FRU part number 96F7678. Manufactured by Alps Electric Company for IBM (DFL413C04A). This is a 1/2 height drive with a big/thick blue button and 40-pin card-edge connector. Fully tested; formats, reads, and writes low-density (720 KB) diskettes with no problems. Accessible areas of the drive were cleaned and dusted. Pictures show actual drive.

Not for IBM PS/2 models that originally came with 1.44 MB 3�" diskette drives; only for models 25 and 30 with Intel 8086 processor (not 286 or 386 processors)--check and research your system thoroughly. Will function in IBM PC XT and AT PCs with a proper adapter.
